The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program supported the founder through his degree at the University of California, Berkeley.
That matters to how this organisation works rather than being a line on a funding list. Emzini weCode exists because somebody paid for an education that would otherwise have been out of reach, and the sliding scale is a direct attempt to do the same thing for somebody else.
