Moving online was not a pandemic improvisation that stuck. The format was chosen so that a student on a prepaid bundle could take the course without their data bill deciding whether they finished.
That decision is why the course reached students outside Bulawayo, and then outside Zimbabwe.
About these figures. Session-by-session records for 2020 are not held in this system. The figure below is the per-session number reported in the press, not an annual total.
